Privacy
elum keeps as little as it can, for as short as it can. No ads, no tracking, no analytics.
Who runs elum
CXI Group. Questions or requests: cxigrouptest@gmail.com.
What’s stored, and why
- Your canvases: the text, drawings and images on them. They’re saved in your browser, and on our servers once a canvas has content, so it can be shared by its link and opened on your other devices.
- Your account, if you make one: your email address and a securely hashed password (or your Google sign-in), so you can sign in and reach your canvases anywhere.
- A scrambled form of your IP address (a salted hash, not the address itself), only to limit abuse such as automated flooding.
- Reports about canvases, with an optional contact address, so we can review and act on them.
Your browser also keeps settings (such as the theme), your list of canvases and their thumbnails. That’s needed for the app to work and never leaves your device, so there’s no cookie banner.
How long
- Free canvases are deleted 24 hours after they’re first saved, with their images.
- Your account stays until you delete it. Deleting it removes everything it owns.
- Abuse-limit counters are kept for a day. Reports are kept as long as needed to handle them.
Who helps us run it
- Supabase (database, file storage and sign-in), servers in Frankfurt, Germany.
- Vercel (hosting the website).
- Google, only if you choose “Continue with Google”.
- Our email provider, only to send sign-in and password emails.
Your rights
You can see, export and delete your canvases in the app, and delete your account from the account menu. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, by writing to cxigrouptest@gmail.com. If you think we’ve handled your data wrongly, you can complain to your data protection authority.
